The CAF calculates the amount of the AVF at the beginning of the year and informs each family of their entitlement. It will then pay its contribution directly to the vacation establishment concerned, if it is a partner in the scheme. This system lets recipients know exactly how much they will have to pay, depending on the rental property or location they choose.
