Boat trips on Lake Biscarrosse

For a rejuvenating family outing on the waters of Lac de Biscarrosse, board one of the Compagnie des Lacs shuttles based at the port of Navarrosse. The company offers a variety of packages for a pleasant time on the water:

• 1H15 guided walks to discover the history of the Great Lakes and the Landes forest.
• 1h15 aperitif cruises organized at the end of the day to let yourself go on the water with a glass of Floc de Gascogne in hand
• or lunch cruises lasting 1 hour 45 minutes to tour the lake’s harbors and enjoy a tasting board filled with local produce.

Lunch cruises take place at midday.

• The price of the guided cruise is 14 euros for passengers over 12, 9.50 euros for children aged 4 to 11, and 4.50 euros for children under 4.
• For an aperitif cruise, the price is 21 euros per passenger from the age of 4 (with non-alcoholic beverage), and 4.50 euros for infants from birth to 3 years of age.
• The lunch cruise costs 41 euros per adult, 26 euros per child aged 4 to 11, and 4.50 euros for children under 4, without lunch.
  For each cruise, a supplement of 3 euros will be charged for dogs, and 2 euros for strollers.

The boatmen from the Musée des Traditions in Biscarrosse invite you to join them for a relaxing and refreshing trip on the waters of the Biscarrosse lake and marsh. These walks are an opportunity to discover preserved flora and fauna. Two circuits are available, one that takes you to the heart of the Biscarross marshes, the other that takes you along the coastal canal to the waters of the lake.

The Nabout circuit takes 2 hours to complete. The guide explains the formation of the dunes and large Landes lakes, and introduces the local flora and fauna. In a calm and restful atmosphere, this boat trip through the marshes is ideal for relaxation and rejuvenation. From April onwards, the trips are led by volunteer boatmen, in boats that can accommodate 6 to 10 people. Stay at our Biscarrosse Lac campsite and enjoy this activity during your vacation!

Departures are by reservation only, at 10 am, 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm.
The price for the marsh tour is 10 euros per adult, 9 euros per child aged 5 to 12, and 5 euros per child under 5. For a trip on the lake, expect to pay between €6 and €14. A combined package including a visit to the museum and a walk through the marshes is available for 13 euros full price, and 12 and 5 euros respectively for children.
