A 4-star open-air hotel, Camping de l’Arbre d’Or is ideally located in a relaxing environment. On the water’s edge, it’s close to the expressway to Lac de Biscarrosse, where fast-charging stations for electric cars are rare. That’s why we decided to develop a recharging area with the CEE ADVENIR program.
Plug in your electric vehicle at the Arbre d’Or campsite
The number of electric cars on the road has grown steadily in recent years. Today, they account for nearly 20% of new vehicle sales. Yet finding a box with sockets for recharging your electrically-powered vehicle can be tricky. If you drive one on the fast road to Lac de Biscarrosse, you’ll never run out of battery again. Based in the heart of the Landes region, close to the Landes forest, one of Europe’s lungs, the Arbre d’Or campsite had to think about renewable energies and offer access to fast charging stations.
Open to the general public, our site is one of the Landes campsites to offer private parking, equipped with standard recharging units, at an affordable price and with two payment methods (bank card and interoperable card). Having benefited from the CEE ADVENIR program, recharging for electrically-powered cars is now included in the campsite’s list of services. Thanks to this program and the CEE (Certificats d’Économie d’Énergie), our company has been able to finance its recharging infrastructure. So there’s no need to look for a parking space for electricity distribution. All accessories are supplied on site: parking space, lighting, recharging boxes, electrical outlets, extension leads, etc.

Camping de l’Arbre d’Or offers two types of electric recharging units. With 2×22 kWh electric terminals and two taps valves, two simultaneous charges are possible. You can gain 50 km of range in just one hour of charging. INGEREV RAPID 50 charging points, on the other hand, allow simultaneous AC and DC charging.
Thanks to these 22+50 kWh multi-standard fast charging stations, one hour’s charge gives you the possibility of recovering 200 km of range. Compatible with all current standards, they are ideal for recharging any electrically-powered vehicle. Last but not least, the recharge box is compact and waterproof for optimum safety. While you’re charging your electric motorhome, you can also take the opportunity to change the oil in your vehicle.
The supplier provides stainless steel charging stations to withstand the weather conditions encountered in outdoor accommodation. A watertight recharging cabinet generally has a differential circuit breaker to protect the device in the event of an energy overload.

Charging an electric car at a campsite, using an electricity distribution cabinet, offers a number of advantages:

- Electrical outlets are also compatible with 2 types of vehicle. And all the accessories you need are included: parking space, lighting, charging boxes, sockets, extension leads, etc.
- Fast-charging stations provide between 50 and 200 km of range per hour.
- Electricity distribution poses no problem. Power between terminals is managed dynamically.
- You can choose between two payment methods: the bank card and the interoperable card.
